GradeTheBid

Data And Legal

Plain answers about what this tool does with your files, and what it is not.

Not Legal Advice

GradeTheBid is software. It is not a law firm and it is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney. The clause check shows what a solicitation lists and where to read the official text. It never tells you that you are compliant. For a legal question, ask a government contracts attorney.

You Are The Author

You are responsible for every word, number, and certification you submit. The draft writer only uses facts from your company profile and marks anything missing as [NEEDS YOUR INPUT]. Check every fact before anyone signs. False statements to the government carry criminal and civil penalties.

We Never Submit For You

GradeTheBid never submits anything to the government. You download your files and submit them yourself. The app does not send anything to SAM.gov, PIEE, Wide Area WorkFlow, or any agency. It only reads public notices and their public files from SAM.gov.

What Not To Upload

Upload public solicitations and your own company information only. Do not upload Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), covered defense information, ITAR or EAR technical data, classified information, or government information from a contract you hold now. This version is not built or authorized to hold that kind of data.

What Happens To Your Files

The Rules Change

The federal rulebook (the FAR) is being rewritten, and each agency adopts the changes on its own date. Our clause library shows the date it was last reviewed. The solicitation in front of you always controls.
